One of the challenges of every Sunday morning is figuring out what to cover in the Sunday Commentary. Obviously the week in review kind of takes care of itself but looking forward can be challenging. We are a small buy mighty staff here at IG and with basically just two “journalists” doing all the writing we have to be picky about what we cover so that our time is used wisely. Spring has sprung here in the Midwest, for today anyway. I hear there is more snow coming tomorrow, but with warm weather to return by mid week. I was out and about this weekend doing a little classic car chasing and came up pretty empty. It’s still early though.
So this week I’m going to talk about some upcoming shows and events we will be at, some Dodge Viper news, our Formula One fantasy league, and I’ll garnish it all with a bunch of hot rod pictures. Hit the jump for all that and more.
Week in Review
The big new car news of the week was obviously the LaFerrari. When Ferrari releases a new hyper car it’s always going to be the big news. They did not disappoint this time with what promises to be one of the most extreme, and desirable cars of all time. If you have a son that’s around the age of eight, you might as well just get him a poster of it now for his bedroom wall. He’s going to want one. If you want to know more about the LaFerrari stats head over to our article on it and bask in it’s glory.
Also this week I dug back through the archives to stave off the winter time blues and find a bunch of pictures of old muscle cars and hot rods I’ve shot to remind me why I get out of bed in the morning. That of course is because you never know what you will see out there on the roads.
Formula One Fantasty League.
There is still time to sign up for the F1 fantasy league we have put together. If you missed the post about it earlier in the week check out the F1 league post Reno made. It’s free, it’s easy to do, and you can laugh at all of us who will inevitably do horrible.
Look forward this week I plan to talk Copo Camaros, since Chevy has released details on the newest in that line of specialty Camaros.
We now know the first few car gatherings we will be at this spring. First up is the World of Wheels car show in Omaha, Nebraska, then the White Hall Drag O Way Fifth Friday Cruise in. Thankfully it seems after a long winter car show season is actually here.
