Sunday Commentary: Shelby, Corvette, and a Mopar too

As March comes to it’s final week supposedly Spring is here. If you live in the Midwest you know you couldn’t tell from the huge snow storm that has decided to pay us a visit today. So on what was supposed to be an action packed weekend with numerous car events about we find ourselves couped up in the garage watching the snow fall. I am told Spring will come eventually.

Despite the lack of live action activity this weekend we still have plenty of to talk about today. Last week was busy, with the World of Wheels show as well as numerous other pieces of news. This week promises to be much of the same with one more article from World of Wheels, the return of tech Tuesday, and news from the industry. So hit the jump and let’s take a look back, and see what’s in store this week.

Pontiac GTO Judge
As I said we have one more article from World of Wheels. We will look at the muscle cars from the show, such as the stunning rare Black Pontiac GTO Judge pictured above. If you missed any of our coverage this week of the World of Wheels show you can follow the links below.

Grudge Match

C7 Vette

It seems not a week goes by where the new C7 Corvette Stingray is making news. This week we saw lots of Corvette action with GM explaining the rear tail lights to those resistant to change, and we saw a grudge match between the new Viper TA and the C6 Chevy Corvette ZR1.

The Week Ahead
As I eluded to earlier Tech Tuesday looks to make a roaring come back this week. I’ve even heard whispers of new diagrams in our own unique flavor. we will also have the last installment from this years World of Wheels Omaha.

We been doing some research on this beast. I’ll tell you all about it later in the week

You’ve asked for it so I hope to provide a bit more opinion. I’m not real comfortable with it because I have strong opinions about cars and generally don’t like to offend or alienate people, but I’ve heard time and time again to let our personality shine through more so that’s what we are going to do. So this week I’ll tick off the oil industry, BMW, and congress when I get a chance. If we are honest at least two of those groups suck any way so who cares if they hate us.

So that will wrap up the Sunday Commentary for today. I have more snow to scoop. Lots more. So until next time keep it shiny side up!
